In honor of Black History Month (we get 29 days this year! It’s almost like progress.) we’re doing something a bit different here at Black Sitcoms.  We’ll, of course, continue to post the high-liarious gifs and images we usually do but they’ll be interspersed with relevant facts of black sitcom history.

You’ll see images and information from the past 60+ years of television history, the delirious highs and the too frequent lows of Black characters in television comedy.
